About Peter Zsiga

2024 Malcolm Knowles Award for Significant Lifelong Contributions to the Field of Self-Directed Learning

Peter Zsiga is on the Editorial Board for the International Journal of Self-Directed Learning, presented at eight Symposiums, and is a charter member, treasurer, and board member of the ISSDL. He was a YMCA director and received Awards of Administrative Excellence for Turnaround and Operating Budget Management. He served as a Middle and High school teacher and Math Coach before becoming Coordinator of Accountability for St. Lucie County Schools and a member of the Graduate Adjunct Faculty at Florida Atlantic University. He has a BS in Physical Education and Administration of Social Agencies, an AA in Accounting, and an MA and a Ph. D. in Educational Leadership/Human Resource Development from Florida Atlantic University. Pete is a continuous learner and looks forward to learning with and from you at this conference and beyond.
